What should I do immediately after sustaining an injury?

How much does it cost to hire your law firm?

Our law firm operates on a contingency fee basis, meaning you don’t pay us anything unless we win or settle your case. Our fees amount to a percentage of the gross compensation you receive, and there are no up-front out-of-pocket costs or fees. We only get paid when you do. Any and all costs associated with prosecuting our cases are advanced by our firm and reimbursed if and when your case is resolved. 

How long do I have to file a personal injury lawsuit in California?

In California, the statute of limitations for personal injury cases is two (2) years from the date of the injury. If your personal injury case is against a public entity, you have six (6) months from the date of the injury to submit a claim to the public entity. Insurance companies will often try to settle quickly, and offer you less than what you deserve. Our firm will handle all communications with the insurance companies on your behalf, to make sure that liability issues are properly resolved and ensure your rights are protected.

How do I know if I'm getting a fair settlement offer?

It is important to consider all aspects of a case when determining fair and reasonable settlement value. Our attorneys will thoroughly review your case, including medical records and bills, lost wages, and the need for future medical care, to determine the appropriate value of your claim. We will guide and advise you when determining if a settlement offer is reasonable or if further negotiation, or litigation, is necessary.

Can I still pursue a claim if I was partially at fault for the accident?

California follows a comparative negligence rule, meaning liability is often shared among multiple parties. You can often still recover damages even if you are deemed to be partially at fault for the accident.
